Open Gardens in Rheinhessen - May 2010

Last Saturday it again a little breather the stress term life, because in Rheinhessen weekend several gardens had opened its doors to visitors. Sure, I've since made a few garden friends on the way to visit some of these gardens and to take other garden friends.

The weather left something to be desired, it was cloudy and cool, the sun was, unfortunately, hardly look. This time, we started with the "coronation".

Garden No. 1
Visiting Majorahn

As so often there was also this time to buy back the old and the course has also found for Chalisas convent garden one or the other.

Now that so are a couple of basic things such as skimmers and water jug are migrated into the basket - the small Waschbütte I had to take in the other hand, the fit impossible to basket - of course, also had one or the other plant will be purchased to plant the new glories. But a few steps further Majorahn has not failed me and there were many Sempervivum beauties, but also to purchase perennials.

Here are some impressions from Majorahns garden.

The sunken garden

The little guy here, the visitor is satisfied with a smile afterwards, right? He knows for sure that the same can not be found again ...

Garden No. 6
The Funkienhof

Funkienhof The field is the last and the basket was still increased by 3 hostas and was then completely full.

And here are the newly acquired treasures. At the old waffle iron I had really hard to tow, but now is forgotten and has found his place.
